Troubleshooting

• If you are having problems with the tablet or application then install Ping-30 (to test connection to the server) and Telnet-2 (for verifying that live data is getting to the tablet) on the tablet. Both of these applications are included in the download with the MDC.APK installation file. Copy these applications to the USB memory stick and use Root Explorer to install them in the same way as the MDC app.

  Don't forget that you will need TCP ports 4442 and 4448 open for the tablets on any corporate firewall otherwise the App will fail.

• When you edit the MDC.DAT file make sure you have a space between every : and the text after it.

ServerMachinePort: 17	– this is OK.
ServerMachinePort:17	– this is not OK and will result in the wrong data (or no data) being displayed.
