Backplot

Use this dialog to configure general backplot settings.

To configure the Backplot settings, select Backplot from the File types menu in the left window of the Editor Setup dialog, or click the Backplot Setup icon in the File menu within the Backplot tab. The following dialog appears:

Only the backplot options for the selected file type are active. All other options are grayed out.

Control Type

Select the control type for the backplot from the list.

Machine Setup (4/5-Axis)

Use this field to specify the machine type. The machine type/geometry is important for 5-Axis simulation. Click on the icon next to the field to edit the machine configuration.

Automatically import tools from a tool library

Check this field to automatically load tools from the specified library.

Tool Library

Use this field to specify which library, tools should be automatically loaded from.

Highlight syntax errors when backplotting

Check this field to highlight errors in the editor when running Backplot / Machine Simulation.

Turning

Turning Configuration

List of orientation configurations. The default configuration will be selected unless a trigger is added to another configuration and this trigger finds the supplied text file.

Trigger

Use this field to set the trigger for the selected orientation configuration.

Orientation

Use this field to specify the orientation of the selected configuration.

Export

Export the machine configuration as a .MacBundle file. This file can be used to import the machine configuration on another Editor.
