The main server configuration dialog is shown below. This dialog contains all the basic server settings.

Use this field to specify the name of the server. The server name is used to identify the server when multiple servers are controlled from the same computer using remote administration.
Choose a name that describes the function and or location of this server, e.g. Shop Floor West.
Specify a server description here. The server description is used to identify the server when multiple servers are controlled from the same computer using remote administration.
Select a new language from this list.
You can use access control to limit the number of users that can change server/port configurations and/or control transmissions.
For further information about access control, please refer to Zugriffsrechte.
Enable administrator password.
When administrator access control is enabled, users will be prompted for the administrator password before they can change server or port configurations.
You should always enable administrator passwords, this will prevent anyone from accidentally changing critical system configurations.

Enable user password.
When user access control is enabled, anyone trying to manually control transmissions will be prompted for the user password.

Check this field to lock the server on startup.
If you do not lock the server on startup, the server will be started with the user logged on that was logged on when the server was last stopped.

Check this field to start the server minimized.
When the server is started minimized, you can activate it using the tray icon (see Server-Symbol).
This option is useful if you start the server from the Startup Folder.
Check this field to disable Windows shutdown when the server console is locked.
Select the lock up timeout from this list.
When the lock up time has elapsed, anyone logged on to the server will be logged of.
