Check this field to move failed auto receive files to $FAILED.

Auto receive will fail in no valid auto receive name/trigger is found in the file.

Force update of files in Directory Synchronizer (All files will be copied on every update)

Check this field if the Directory Synchronizer should copy all files/directories on every update, disregarding if they are changed, this should only be used when setting up a new port or for debug purpose, and then disabled.

Failed transfers to keep

Specify the number of failed transfers to keep. Failed transfers are named FAILED_$PORTNAME.xxx. The file with the largest 'xxx' value is the latest failed transfer.

File update delay (secs)

Use this field to specify the delay between detecting a file update and processing the file.

Check file contents (slow)

Check file field if DNC-Max should not rely on the file time stamps to detect when a file has been updated.

When this option is checked DNC-Max will scan the entire file to check if it has been updated. This will generate a lot of disk activity, and should only be activated if DNC-Max fails to detect file updates otherwise!

Use 'Smart Monitoring' on CNC

Check this field to enable 'Smart Monitoring' on the directories located on the CNC machine. When smart monitoring is enabled, DNC-Max will detect new files within seconds.

Smart monitoring does not work with some network file systems and CNC controls, and some third party applications might prevent DNC-Max from using the smart monitoring facility.

CNC Scan Interval (min)

Use this field to specify the scanning interval in minutes.

When using the smart monitoring feature you can set this to a high value, because all changes are then detected immediately, and the rescan is only used to ensure that no updates were missed due to network errors etc.

Example: If you specify 10 in this field, all directories will be scanned every 10 minutes.

Use auto receive DUMMY file

Check this field to create a file (if does not exist in ncbase) using folder name.

All other files will be associated to the created file as sub-programs.

Use translate according__dhinf.000 (folder and files)

Check this field to translate files and WPD folders according __dhinf.000 file.
