Use this field to specify the file extension.
Use this field to specify the file extension. All files transferred using remote request or disk mode must use the selected extension, and only programs with the selected extension are shown in the CMT Contents list.
Any files received from the CNC are saved with the specified extension.
Use this field to specify the minimum number of digits used when saving a program.
Ex.: If you specify 6, and the program number is 123, then it will be saved as '000123.mzk'.
Check this field if the program comment should be used to generate the filename when receiving programs.
Use this field to specify a filename prefix.
Example: If you specify 'PRG', the server will look for files named 'PRGnnnn.mzk', where nnnn is the program number, and 'mzk' is the selected extension.
Use this field to specify a filename suffix.
Example: If you specify 'PRG', the server will look for files named 'nnnnPRG.mzk', where nnnn is the program number, and 'mzk' is the selected extension.
Check this field if the filename should be inserted in the program comment field when transmitting data from the server to the control.
Check this field to specify an advanced trigger that should be used to extract the program name from the comment.
Use this field to specify an advanced trigger.
![]() | The part of the trigger that should be extracted must be enclosed in <>. |
Use this field to test the advanced trigger.

Use these fields to configure how disk directories are named.
Note: These fields are only enabled if Disk mode is selected on the General options setup sheet. For further information, please refer to [LINK:pcfg_mazak_port] and [LINK:pcfg_mazak].
Use this field to specify the directory name prefix.
Ex: If you specify 'DISK-' as directory prefix, the server will send and receive programs from the directory 'DISK-123' when you request disk 123.
Use this field to specify the directory name suffix.
Ex: If you specify '.DISK' as directory suffix, the server will send and receive programs from the directory '123.DISK' when you request disk 123.
Use this field to specify the character used as path delimiter in auto receive and remote request, that contains path information.
Check this field to allow sub-directory changing.
When this option is enabled, you can send multiple remote requests/disk change commands, and if the previous remote request/disk change command ended with the path delimiter specified above, then the next directory is assumed to be a sub directory of that directory.
Example remote request: To request the program MYCUSTOMER\MOULD.MZK, first send in a remote request program with the comment MYCUSTOMER+ (if + is used as path delimiter), then send a remote request with the comment 'MOULD'.
Example disk mode: To change to the sub-directory MYCUSTOMER\PROJECT, first send a remote disk change with the comment 'MYCUSTOMER+' (if + is used as path delimiter), then send a remote disk change with the comment 'PROJECT'
Check this field to auto create disk directories, when the operator request a disk change to a non-existing disk.
